Hypnotherapy for depression and persistent low mood
Lighten the emotional weight. Restore balance. Move forward again.
When low mood persists, it can feel as though your energy, motivation, and clarity have been switched off.
Hypnotherapy helps interrupt the patterns that reinforce negative thinking and emotional withdrawal, supporting a gradual return to emotional balance.
Confidential online sessions delivered wherever you are.

When low mood becomes more than an off day
Everyone experiences fluctuations in mood. But when sadness, emotional flatness, or lack of motivation persist and begin affecting daily life, something deeper may be happening. You may notice:
• A heaviness that is difficult to explain
• Reduced energy or concentration
• Loss of enjoyment in things you once valued
• Increased irritability or withdrawal
• Difficulty sleeping or switching off
• Negative self-talk that feels automatic
When these patterns continue, they can begin to shape how you see yourself and your future.
You are not weak for feeling this way. Often, your nervous system is simply stuck in a prolonged stress response.

A calm, pattern-based approach
Low mood is often maintained by deeply learned patterns of thinking and stress response.
Under prolonged pressure, the brain can become threat-focused. This reduces access to motivation, creativity, and balanced thinking. Negative thoughts can feel louder and more convincing.
My approach integrates clinical hypnotherapy with contemporary understanding of how stress affects mood and emotional regulation.
Rather than analysing problems repeatedly, we focus on helping your system feel safe enough to shift. Sessions are forward-focused, practical, and structured to support gradual, sustainable change.
Taking the first step: What to expect
We begin with a calm, confidential conversation to understand what you are experiencing and what you would like to feel instead.
We will explain how stress chemistry can affect mood, sleep, and motivation. Understanding what is happening in your brain often brings reassurance and clarity.
Each session includes guided hypnotherapy. This is a relaxed but fully aware state in which your mind becomes more receptive to change. You remain in control at all times.
Where appropriate, you may be offered a reinforcement recording to support progress between sessions.
There is no pressure to relive distressing memories or force anything to happen.
Could this help you?

You may benefit if you are experiencing:
• Low confidence or persistent self-doubt
• Sleep disruption linked to stress
• Difficulty concentrating
• A sense of hopelessness about change
• Feeling stuck in repetitive negative thinking
